Welcome to Kindness Candles, where every flicker tells a story of friendship, love, and light. Let us introduce ourselves… we are Carla and Lois, lifelong friends from Essex, UK. Now in our forties, we decided to embark on an exciting new chapter together, with a bond forged during our university days, growing stronger over the years we thought it was time to transform our shared passion into a meaningful venture.

Our Inspiration

Kindness Candles was created from a deeply personal and challenging journey, with a desire to honour a very special girl. When Lois's daughter, Edie, lost her battle with an aggressive brain tumour, we sought a way to keep her brilliant light alive. Edie, with her pure heart and selfless nature, touched everyone she met, even at the age of 7, she had an incredible ability to put others first, something we strive to continue. With Edie in our hearts, Kindness Candles aims to bring the same warmth and brightness she shared with the world into your homes. Our logo, a cherished drawing by Edie herself, symbolises the essence of our mission.

At Kindness Candles, every product is a labour of love, meticulously handcrafted and hand-poured by us. Our dedication to excellence ensures that each candle not only fills your space with a beautiful aroma but also reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility. We use Eco Soy wax, a biodegradable material that allows our candles to burn longer and cleaner, leaving no petrol soot behind, allowing you to enjoy their soothing glow for extended periods, knowing they are better for the planet.

We only use high grade wicks, which means they are made with eco cotton and pre waxed with organic soy wax. This ensures they are vegan friendly and sustainably sourced. Using a high quality wick allows for a cleaner burn and a full bodied fragrance

We currently offer a curated selection of three enchanting, scented candles, each designed to evoke a sense of comfort and joy. As the seasons change, we begin to introduce special, limited-edition candles, ensuring there’s always something new to discover.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Always leave at least 10cm between candles. Do not burn on or near anything that can catch fire.

Trim wicks to about 5mm before lighting. Always extinguish the candle and do not relight when the wax level is less than 10mm.
